There was a time when Jimmy the Greek was in the beginning of sport betting, this is when he actually began to write for Las Vegas newspapers before he was on television, by then Jimmy the Greek became a household name, his actual name was Jimmy the Greek Snyder.

During his many years as a prognosticator Jimmy the Greek would suffer many tragedies which included the loss of three of his children, a harrowing experience for any parent!  Jimmy the Greek had a sixth sense for picking winners he was the best and his testimony to this day is the best there is or was!

Football legend Irv Cross worked alongside Jimmy the Greek and said he was never a racist from a black athletes opinion however several ignorant people like former congressman Floyd Flake get that name a real flake!!! would assault Jimmy the Greek as did former presidential candidate Jesse Jackson, we all know his credentials are truly honorable, right?  If you believe that then you believe that Santa Clause wears a Green Jump suit!!!
                                                                                                                                                  Jimmy The Greek Snyder was a legend who was brilliant, and before we go any further any aspersion to his charter was false and a total lie!  Jimmy The Greek was never known to be a racist, however there were racists that tried to make him look like a racist, he was a genuinely honest person!  

As time went on Jimmy the Greek would write for the Las Vegas newspapers and other sporting greens he was a master at prognosticating, IE. sports betting giving odds, long live his memory!

Jimmy the Greek Snyder, was born  Demetrios Georgios Synodinos, known as "Jimmy the Greek," an odds maker and football personality who brought gambling into every ones living room through television but was fired by CBS Sports for saying that black Americans were better athletes than whites because of physical traits dating back to slavery, this he stated was suppose to be off the record, this he attributed to a movie he saw.   He was 76 years old when he died.

R.I.P.  Jimmy may the good lord bless you always!  We know that the slings and arrows are sent by those of a wayward mind and an evil disposition, so they to will have their reward!   As Einstein once stated, "that small minds often attack superior people"!  Quote:

The way in which he stated these facts were actually suppose to be a compliment to the superior athletic ability that athletes of a different color displayed, where then is the racism?  In the minds of the accusers of course!

Jimmy the Greek was born in a small Ohio town called Steubenville,  while his family's roots are from the Greek island of Chios in the Aegean Sea.   He was a well rounded athlete who got into sports in school and later had a talent for spotting a certain kind of athlete that could make the team win games, one event was when the Navy ran against Notre Damn, he picked the Navy while everyone else picked Notre Damn, the Navy won 38 to 7 nice going Jimmy!!!

I think that Jimmy was a bold individual and he was on the money most of the time, his big win was 200 to 1 against McGovern!!!  Guess he got slaughtered by Nixon!! Yet the people who attacked Jimmy were for the most part small minded little people!

If Jimmy the Greek were alive today what would he project for college football?  We will check out this and other features to give you an update of our favorite sports betting phenom!  Well this is the direction I am hoping to acheive is to find the next "Jimmy the Greek"!   Are you that person?  Can you do football and basketball odds making?  Let me know and we will see how well you do!

JIMMY THE GREEK SNYDER SPEAKS

OK all you Tom Brady critics, back off!!   How does anyone and that includes you prove Tom Brady is guilty of this crime!! What a joke Goddell rhymes with hell so Goddell STFU!!!  If that is not plain enough for you then try this on,  stick it one ear and blow it out the other!!   IS that better???

With all the news articles about Tom Brady cheating it is not acceptable to blame someone for the error of another, he is the scapegoat here plain and simple, he plans on taking it to court and I hope there are some intelligent people here because the NFL does not sound to intelligent to me!!!

 So how is it that in Indiana after the game that the news reported that the game ball were deflated, sounds fishy to me!!   So the polls show that 92% believe Brady knew that they were deflated, not so fast bucko!!  More genius' for sure!!!

The news service in Indiana should be grilled to find out how they knew that the balls were deflated when the game just ended!!  What gives?  Any idea???   Something stinks here me thinks!!!

The game ball deflated or not does not change the trajectory or the performance for the positive, it actually is a bad thing for receivers so learn to make a judgement call that has merit, Brady is not the culprit here I think someone who may have been a Colts fan may have got his hands on the balls.

Remember there are ball handlers who may or may not know what happened I believe that pointing the finger without evidence of any significance is a totally wrong point of view!

So ask yourself how could Brady have done this with all eyes and all camera's on him??  Got an answer for that Bucko???  Now they believe one of the ball boys who no longer is with New England may have had a hand it this!!!

JIMMY THE GREEK WAS RIGHT!

THIS IS I AN UPDATE    

I would love to have any comments that you would like to add so I can see how well you receive these posts, as I try to make them insightful as well as intelligent as can be, not working for the news industry is not what I am gunning for but I will be adding my you tube cooking show soon so please add comments, thank you!!

I updated this post from the tine I wrote the original as I believe there should be some closure for Seattle fans and I am sure that this year they will look for atonement and get the super bowl trophy that is if the Arizona Cardinals don't trip them up, if they can keep Carson Palmer healthy look out Seattle!!!

I was a fan of Jimmy the Greek, maybe you figured that out by now, if not believe this I am!!  With that said lets see why the media screwed up dissing Jimmy the Greek!  He was a man of conscience and a man of great humility as well as compassion.

How did I come to that conclusion?  Read his bio and see his family ties  and then realize that there can be no other conclusion!  So with that said lets see why he says the media s all wet about the Deflate gate!

Well it turns out that everyone with an opinion thought that the second best quarterback of all time only after Joe Montana that he would stoop to a low and deflate the balls!!  Idiots though they were the fact that the media never pushed the truth that the league stated the balls naturally lost air, well so much for Tom Brady doing a dirty deed, NOT!

If you heard the press conference with patriots coach Bill Belicheck then you should have figured out that this whole incident is nothing but a joke on the American people, a distraction for something more important.  

If Jimmy the Greek were here he would have down played this incident as was his way, he only criticized in a minor way.  I am sure he would have considered anything Tom Brady as non-sense!

So I told you so and Jimmy the Greek was right on I forgot to mention 28 to 24 Pats over the Hawks.

OK I was lucky, or was I?  I was on the mark and I have a few people I know who are Pats fans which looked almost like the Seahawks were about to score again, what a twist of fate, or again was it?  Was it in the cards that the Pats should win?  Or was it just as the saying goes the luck of the draw or in this case the interception that had Seattle fans reeling in agony and pain!!!

WHERE ARE THE SMARTS

So the 49ers are heading for 3rd place in 2015, how do I know that?  They hired a low level replacement for Harbaugh a defensive coach, that was the mistake they made when they Hired Dick Nolan and fast forward to hire Mike Nolan,  now they do it again! 

OK so now why 3rd place?  Well the Cardinals are challenging Seattle next year and the Niners are actually going to be lucky to be in third place!!   Remember Kaepernick lost both games to the Rams the year Harbaugh dissed Smith.

Jim Harbaugh had a bad decision day, he dissed his franchise quarterback for a second rate second string nobody who had no proven ability to lead a champion team, Kaepernick has a foul mouth getting fined by officials and that is not leadership!

Its no secret that I have been a big fan of Jimmy the Greek Snyder and he has been an inspiration to me, he had a lot of courage in the face of critics, and they were there, they came out of the ground like the slime they were! 

So along comes Harbaugh and just as the 49ers are building a crescendo of wins leading to the playoffs and the super bowl Harbaugh does the unthinkable and disses his franchise quarterback Alex Smith!  Reid stated that Smith may just be the best quarterback in the NFL, so why was Harbaugh so blind to this fact??

He replaces his top rated quarterback with a lowly unknown untried 2nd rank, 2nd rate, 2nd string nobody Kaepernick!   Even his players were dismayed at his decision, some were heard in the media adding displeasure to the move by Harbaugh!

Alex was the fifth rated passing quarterback when he was injured in the Rams game which Kapernick quickly lost and again to the Rams a second time, yet Harbaugh said he had a great arm, really no one from Baltimore would argue with you Harbaugh after all he threw the winning pass to Baltimore!!

SO he losses the super bowl and gets his head handed to him through out the season, what a poor sportsman, his foul mouth and bad attitude are not 49er inspired sportsmanship!  Fined and fined again is his lowly 2nd rank position leading one of the greatest football teams in history to destruction!  

Harbaugh is a disgrace to the legends before him Bill Walsh and George Seifert who never lost a super bowl, now the record was tarnished by an obviously poor judgement on the part of Harbaugh!

As for profits the 49ers who were rlling in the dough or in the BLACK as it is referred to will now be seeing RED big time, especially with a new stadium, how wonderful is that?  Well if you are the owners of the 49ers it has to have you worried bug time!  

The fans are disgruntled, especially after losing to the lowly Raiders, and also to their evil nemesis the Seahawks and the Cardinals!!!  The 49 ers  future looks very very bleak to say the least.

Drastic measures are needed, I read that the 49 ers plan on trading Harbaugh, good start but they need to get rid of Kaepernick and the sooner the better and replace him with a proven winner, only I do not think the 49 ers will do that, why?  Because if history is any indication of how the 49 ers think they would rather loss and pretend to be in the hunt to be a winner than to have a winner at quarterback, it won't be their first time trying to fool the fans!

When  Thomas and Clark were in charge of the 49 ers from around 71' to 78 they messed the Forty niners so bad that Bill Walsh had no first round draft choices for years to come, he had to make the hard choices, enter Montana a rookie and a winner!

Their is a winner on the bench the forty niners could make their leader but I am betting against it, why?  Because the niners do not want to win!  Like the GM of the Jets said after they fired him he should have used Tim Tebow, after all he was a winner, see my reason the Niners do not want to win, just like Tampa 2-10 Bay doesn't want to win, they will let the league pick up their big RED finances!

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

ITS GAME TIME CAN'T LOOK!

As Sergeant Shultz on Hogan's hero's would say "I see nothing"!   Of course he will not be watching the game, his real life name was John Banner and he was born in Austria so the accent was very real.

So I have this feeling that the Patriots are feeling a little angry and upset especially since the so called deflate gate made the players feel unnecessary heat and insults as well!!  Tom Brady as far as I can tell is a class act, so for all those people who asserted that he was responsible for the deflated balls the truth is now more certain and Brady was not responsible in any way shape or form!!!

Jim, you gotta be kidding!!  Really are you smoking something we don't know a you are or drinking something?  I thought you quit those years ago??  OK what give??  From my point of view I think that the Patriots are under rated because the Hawks won last year, I can't feel it!! 

Oh are the Seahawk's fans going to hate me, so when I drive to Alaska I will more than likely have to drive through Idaho

Well before we get to the good stuff I am sure you have heard of this ridicules thing the news people have designated as "Deflate Gate" to wit I reply,  "Horse manure bull pucky and cow feathers"!   Why are they looking at the Patriots?   

I heard the news come out of Indianapolis Indiana, so why are the folks at the NFL not looking at the Colts who may have sabotaged the balls themselves as payback for losing?  
  Actually it appears that no one may have done this foul deed if in fact it is a foul deed!!

It turns out that footballs, basketballs and soccer balls can deflate without any help from you or I, so this is a known fact and the NFL jumped to conclusions as did many people before the facts were in!!!  o who would you want on your jury trial for murder?  Me or someone like the people  who jumped to conclusions before the facts were in???

Well the picks are in for the AFL its Denver, the Patriots, and the Colts, who the fourth team will be is known after the Ravens upended the Steelers.  While in the NFL it looks like the Sea hawk's, Green bay, New Orleans, Dallas!

Well it looks to me that the final winners are going to the Super Bowl and that is a who knows what where or who and that can be frustrating if your a fan of one of the above mentioned teams.  

My selection was the Seattle Sea hawk's and the Patriots.  How did I come to that conclusion? Well the Sea hawk's are a tough team determined with a strong defense, offense needs help,on the other side of the coin is the strong Pats defense with the best quarterback in the business, sorry Manning fans its crying time for Denver, they should have kept Tebow in reserve!

The Bronco's beat the Cardinals and the Patriots beat the Bronco's on the other side the Sea hawks beat the Cardinals and so I make the pick between these two teams due to the fact that they are on a collision course with destiny!  While in these situations the Patriots were domineering and assertive look out Seattle!!!
